Est. Pacific Northwest
Growth through Adventure
and Good Citizenship
The Luffman family calls the Pacific Northwest home, though our lives extend far beyond any single map pin. We are spread across the globe — Southeast Asia, New York, the American Midwest — drawn back together by shared values and a restless spirit of exploration.
We believe the best life is built through movement: up mountains, across borders, through hard problems. Our pursuits span rock climbing and snowboarding, the precision of aerospace engineering and robotics, the long arc of public service and diplomacy, and the quiet discipline of showing up for community.
We are engineers and public servants, adventurers and neighbors. We build things, fix things, and try to leave places better than we found them.
Not a mission statement — a lived orientation. These are the commitments that show up in how we choose our work, raise our families, and spend our weekends.
We seek the edge of comfort — in altitude, in culture, in ideas. The summit proves the climb was worth it.
Whether writing code, planning an expedition, or raising a family — we do things with patience and precision.
Civic engagement and public life belong to all of us. We show up — for neighbors, institutions, and the common good.
Distance is a fact; closeness is a choice. We invest in relationships across continents, time zones, and generations.
We think in decades. Health, wisdom, relationships, and legacy compound slowly and are worth protecting carefully.
